Buying at Auction

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

  1. Robertsons of Kinbuck acts only as an agent for the seller.
  2. The buyer shall be the Highest Bidder. If any dispute arises, Robertsons of Kinbuck shall have the absolute discretion to settle it.
  3. Every Bidder shall be required to obtain a Buyer Number by registering at Robertsons of Kinbuck Office.
  4. Buyers premium of 15% plus 20% vat will be added to all bids on lots.
  5. Any statement by Robertsons of Kinbuck in the catalogue of any lots is statement of opinion only.
  6. Where there is no mention of damage and/or restoration this should NOT be taken to mean that there is none.
  7. Buyers must satisfy themselves by inspection or otherwise prior to purchase.
  8. Buyers must pay Robertsons of Kinbuck for items purchased on or before the end of the sale and prior to removal of items. On presentation of the receipt the goods will then be released.
  9. Goods should be removed no later than 2 working days after the sale.
  10. All Lots are put up for sale subject to any reserve price imposed by the vendor.
  11. Robertsons of Kinbuck shall not be liable for any damage, irrespective of cause. In addition Robertsons of Kinbuck shall not be liable for any errors or omissions caused by the packers.
  12. Prospective buyers are advised to attend the auction. However if instructed Robertsons of Kinbuck shall bid on behalf of the buyer and shall not be liable for any neglect in so doing or for failure to do so.
  13. All lots including electrical appliances are sold as seen and no Warranty is given or implied.
  14. Robertsons of Kinbuck shall have the right at its discretion to refuse admission to its premises or attendance by any person.
  15. Robertsons of Kinbuck have the right at its discretion to refuse any bid, to withdraw or divide any lot and in case of dispute to put any lot for auction again.
